How Do You Determine Fresh Supply And Demand Zones?

Hello PAN,

I have searched your site to see if you have ever written any articles relative to identifying “Fresh” zones of S/D and can’t seem to find any. If you have written information on the subject can you kindly point me in the right direction so that I may read your input?

Additionally, does the daily average range play a role in your strategy?

As mentioned before, I enjoy your site and believe that its content is going to provide hours and hours of reading and hopefully results in my becoming a better trader.

Presently I am demoing and although not consistently profitable I am pretty much B.E. Breaking even isn’t the way I want to go. Studying your material has brought a new understanding of how the market is really set up to make me lose money.

If I can figure out how they plan to do it the better off I’ll be. I purchased your Zero Sum Fun book and it is opening my eyes even further.

Regards,

My Main Strategy in a Nutshell

My bread and butter is pinpointing zones around major swing highs and swing lows. These are the spots where banks are either taking profits or entering substantial positions to reverse the market. The zones that form at these turning points are usually much more reliable for reversals compared to those “middle-of-the-move” zones (the rally-base-rally or drop-base-drop types).

About the Average Daily Range (ADR)

The ADR isn’t a large part of my strategy, but I do sometimes use it to get a feel for how much the market might move on any given day.

It’s more of a supporting tool than a main indicator.

I’ll try to break down the ADR in more detail in upcoming articles. The one you’ve seen in my screenshots isn’t ideal, as it only shows data for the past 20 days. Ideally, I’d like one that’s more customizable, showing the ADR for 5 days, 10 days, and so on.

Hope this gives you some more clarity.

Reach out if you have any further questions!
