Divergence Guide
Regular, hidden & classification
Bullish Divergence
Price makes a lower low but RSI makes a higher low. Momentum is not confirming the new price low — sellers are weakening. Signals potential reversal upward.
Bearish Divergence
Price makes a higher high but RSI makes a lower high. Buyers are losing steam at the new high. Signals potential reversal downward.
Hidden Bullish
Price makes a higher low but RSI makes a lower low. Trend is up, RSI pulled back more than price — signals trend continuation bullish.
Hidden Bearish
Price makes a lower high but RSI makes a higher high. Trend is down, RSI bounced more than price — signals trend continuation bearish.
📐 Quality Checklist
- Both pivot points must be clear swing highs or lows — not minor noise
- Draw lines connecting the same structure: swing lows to swing lows, highs to highs
- RSI levels matter: bullish div is stronger below 50, bearish div is stronger above 50
- The closer to an S&D zone, the higher the probability of a successful trade
- Look for confirmation: a break of structure or a strong reversal candle before entering
🎯 Training Modes
- Identify: Does this chart show divergence, or is momentum confirming price?
- Type: Is the marked divergence bullish or bearish?
- Hidden: Is this regular divergence (reversal) or hidden divergence (continuation)?
- Strength: Rate the divergence quality from 1 (weak) to 4 (textbook institutional signal).
