What’s the best way to increase the probability of price reversing at supply and demand zones?

Some traders look for technical confluence, while others focus on the zone’s characteristics—such as the strength of the initial move away.

For me, psychological levels (often called big round numbers) are the most reliable filter.

  1. Order Clustering – Large institutional buy, sell, and stop orders tend to accumulate around psychological prices (e.g. 1.3000, 1.3500). These levels naturally attract liquidity and act as magnets for price. The reasons why vary from source to source, but multiple studies and technical papers (see below) have concluded that round number prices attract clusters of orders, not just on longer timescales (i.e the major psyche levels - prices ending in 0000, 00000, 500) but also round numbers ending in 25, 50, 00. You can actually see the order clustering in real time using Oanda's free order book tool - also great for checking for stop hunts.

Check it out....
