A risk ladder reduces your risk % per trade as your account equity grows, and can step it back up if a drawdown pulls equity back down a rung. It's a simple way to compound gains without letting position sizes balloon unchecked as the account gets larger.
How This Calculator Works
Enter your current equity and it's matched against your ladder to find the active rung. That rung's risk % is applied to your equity to get a dollar risk amount, which is then converted into a recommended lot size using your stop loss distance.
