Supply & Demand Zone Guide
Zone types, proximal/distal lines & freshness
RBR
Rally‑Base‑Rally — price rallies in, bases, then rallies again. A continuation demand zone.
DBD
Drop‑Base‑Drop — price drops in, bases, then drops again. A continuation supply zone.
DBR
Drop‑Base‑Rally — price drops in, bases, then reverses upward. A reversal demand zone.
RBD
Rally‑Base‑Drop — price rallies in, bases, then reverses downward. A reversal supply zone.
📦 Plotting Rules
- Distal line: drawn at the extreme wick of the base — the furthest point price reacted from
- Proximal line: drawn at the near edge of the base bodies — closest to where price currently trades
- Demand zones sit below price and are shaded green; supply zones sit above price and are shaded red
- A zone gets weaker each time price returns and tests it — fresh (untested) zones react the strongest
- Look for tight, clean consolidation candles forming the base — messy bases make poor zones
🎯 Training Modes
- Identify: Is the shaded zone a Supply zone or a Demand zone?
- Pattern: Which base pattern formed the zone — RBR, DBD, DBR or RBD?
- Lines: Which edge of the zone is the Proximal line — the top or the bottom?
- Strength: Based on prior tests marked on the chart, is the zone Fresh, Once Tested, or Weak?
