Price action: every cluster, one place to start

From reading raw candles to structuring a full trading strategy — this hub links out to the four core clusters that make up the price action framework. Start at the basics if you're new, or jump straight to the cluster you need.

Price action is the skill everything else sits on top of

Indicators, zones, and setups are only ever as good as the price action reading underneath them. Before you can trust a supply zone or a support level, you need to be able to read what the candles and the structure around them are actually telling you — trend or range, expansion or compression, strength or exhaustion.

This hub is the map for that skill. It's split into four clusters that build on each other: the basics (how price actually moves and how structure forms), market conditions (reading the personality of the market you're in right now), advanced tools & methods (the professional layer once the fundamentals are solid), and strategies (turning all of it into an actual, repeatable plan).

How to use this hub
New to price action? Start with the basics cluster — market structure has to click before anything else will make sense. Already comfortable reading candles? Jump to market conditions to sharpen your read, then advanced tools and strategies to tighten execution.

Pick your starting point

Each card below is a full cluster in its own right, with its own lessons underneath it. Work through them in order, or jump straight to the one that matches a gap in your trading right now.

01
Foundations

Price Movement & Market Structure Basics

Start here if candles, swing highs/lows, and trend structure don't yet feel automatic. This cluster covers how price actually moves and how to read the structure underneath any chart, on any pair.

  • How price moves: impulse vs. correction
  • Swing highs, swing lows, and structure breaks
  • Trend vs. range at a glance
  • The building blocks every later cluster assumes

Context

Market Conditions & Behaviour

The same setup wins in one market condition and fails in another. This cluster is about reading the personality of the market you're actually trading right now — trending, ranging, volatile, or quiet — before you pick a play.

  • Reading trending vs. ranging conditions
  • Volatility and market "mood" shifts
  • Matching your setup to the condition
  • Avoiding the wrong tool in the wrong regime

Professional layer

Advanced Price Action Tools & Methods

Once the fundamentals are solid, this is the layer that separates hobby-level reading from professional execution — the tools and methods that experienced traders lean on to refine entries, filters, and confluence.

  • Professional-grade confirmation methods
  • Refining entries beyond the basic signal
  • Stacking confluence without overcomplicating
  • Where most traders plateau — and how to get past it

Price Action Trading Strategies

Everything above turns into a plan here. This cluster covers complete, repeatable strategies built on pure price action — how to combine structure, conditions, and confluence into rules you can actually follow.

  • Complete, rules-based strategy breakdowns
  • Entry, stop, and target logic explained
  • Combining structure with confluence
  • Turning reading skill into a repeatable plan

A clean order to work through the hub

If you'd rather follow a sequence than browse, this is the order that builds most cleanly — each cluster leans on the one before it.

  1. 01

    Lock in the basics

Price movement and market structure first. If you can't reliably spot a structure break or tell impulse from correction, everything downstream will feel harder than it needs to.

    Open the basics cluster →
  2. 02

    Learn to read the conditions

Once structure clicks, layer in market conditions — trending, ranging, volatile, quiet. This is what tells you which setups are even worth looking for today.

    Open market conditions →
  3. 03

    Add the professional layer

With the fundamentals solid, the advanced tools and methods cluster sharpens entries and confluence without turning your chart into noise.

  4. 04

    Turn it into a strategy

Finish with the strategies cluster and combine everything above into a set of rules you can actually repeat, trade after trade.

FAQ — quick answers before you dive in

I'm brand new to price action. Where do I start?

Start with the basics cluster — price movement and market structure. It covers how price actually moves and how to read structure on any chart, which every other cluster assumes you already know.

I already trade price action. What's the point of this hub?

Use it to find the specific cluster you're weakest on — usually market conditions or the advanced tools layer. Most traders who plateau are missing one of these two, not the basics.

Do I need to go through all four clusters in order?

No, but it helps. Basics and market conditions build the reading skill; advanced tools and strategies build the execution. If you skip straight to strategies without the first two, the rules will feel arbitrary instead of obvious.

Does this replace the Supply & Demand course?

No — this hub is the pure price action foundation underneath it. Supply & Demand is a specific framework built on top of the reading skills covered here.

Does this work on indices and crypto too, or just forex?

The reading skills are asset-agnostic — structure, conditions, and confluence behave the same way across forex, indices, gold, and crypto. Some examples lean on forex charts, but the framework transfers directly.
